Practical Support on Every Hike

01 · 7075-T6 Aluminum Alloy Shafts

High-strength aluminum alloy shafts combine a lightweight feel with durable construction for repeated use on hiking trails and uneven ground.

02 · Textured EVA Foam Grips

Soft, contoured EVA foam provides a comfortable handhold, while the textured lower grip area offers an additional holding position on changing terrain.

03 · Adjustable Three-Section Design

Three telescoping shaft sections adjust from approximately 25.5 to 53 inches, helping you set a suitable pole length for your height and walking conditions.

Rotating lock collars secure the telescoping sections at the selected length. Check each lock before putting weight on the poles.

Metal trail tips provide a point of contact with the ground, removable-style trail baskets help limit sinking on softer surfaces, and adjustable woven wrist straps support a more controlled grip.

MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION

Thoughtful Details from Grip to Tip

TrailAxis combines a 7075-T6 aluminum alloy shaft with comfortable foam grips and adjustable telescoping sections. Each component serves a practical purpose, from maintaining a comfortable handhold to adapting pole length for different trail conditions.

01. 7075-T6 Aluminum Alloy Shafts

The three-section telescoping shafts are made from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy. Their metallic construction offers a balance of strength and weight for hiking support without the bulk of heavier solid poles.

Material: 7075-T6 aluminum alloy.

02. EVA Foam Handle Grips

The black contoured grip surfaces use EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) foam for a cushioned, lightweight handhold. The textured lower grip section provides another place to hold the pole when negotiating short changes in elevation.

Material: EVA foam.

03. Telescoping Sections & Twist Locks

Three overlapping shaft sections allow length adjustment. The black ribbed twist-lock collars are molded polymer components designed to tighten around the telescoping sections when adjusted correctly.

Construction: Three-section aluminum shafts with molded polymer twist-lock collars.

04. Wrist Straps & Handle Caps

Adjustable woven wrist straps help maintain contact with the handles, while the molded olive-green handle caps provide a finished upper grip profile.

Components: Woven adjustable wrist straps and molded polymer handle caps.

05. Metal Tips & Trail Baskets

The pointed metal tips are designed for ground contact on suitable trails. The included molded polymer baskets help limit pole penetration into softer soil and loose ground. The tip profile is designed in a tungsten-carbide-style form.

Components: Metal trail tips with a tungsten-carbide-style profile and molded polymer baskets.

SIZE & ADJUSTMENT

Set Your Preferred Pole Length

Adjust each pole to a comfortable height before starting your hike. The telescoping design allows the pair to be configured for different users and trail gradients. Always tighten the twist locks securely and verify that the sections do not slip before use.

Maximum extended length 53 in / 135 cm
Grip length 5.1 in / 13 cm

Quick Adjustment Guide

  1. Loosen the twist-lock collar enough to adjust the telescoping section.

  3. Tighten the twist lock firmly according to the locking mechanism's design.
  4. Check each section for movement before placing weight on the pole.

ON-TRAIL SETUP

Make Every Adjustment Count

Step 1 · Adjust for Your Height

Set both poles to a comfortable length within the 25.5–53 inch range. Adjust the length to suit your posture and the terrain ahead.

Step 2 · Secure the Twist Locks

Tighten all lock collars and check that the shaft sections do not slide. Never rely on an unsecured telescoping section for support.

Step 3 · Position Your Hands

Hold the EVA foam grips comfortably and adjust the wrist straps so your hands can move naturally without being restricted.

Step 4 · Inspect After Each Hike

Wipe off dirt and moisture, inspect the tips and baskets, and check the locking collars before storing the poles in a dry place.

Care & Trail Safety

  • Inspect the aluminum shafts, twist locks, wrist straps, baskets, and tips before each hike.
  • Do not extend the telescoping sections beyond the designated adjustment limits.
  • Confirm that all locking collars are secure before applying weight to the poles.
  • Use caution on wet rock, loose gravel, icy ground, and other slippery surfaces. Trekking poles do not eliminate the risk of falls.
  • Keep the metal tips away from hands and other people, and use protective tip covers during transport when appropriate.
  • Clean and dry the poles after use. Store them in a dry location to help protect the metal components and locking mechanism.
